continuing the ongoing “Toasty” series, Nike has just unveiled official images of the Nike dunk High retro Toasty “Rattan”. Decked out in a neutral-hued colourway and ready for the colder months, could this dunk be the perfect winter sneaker? It’s been an absolutely phenomenal year for the silhouette and the Swoosh brand seems to be continuing the push into 2022, giving the dunk all the popularity it deserves.
Appearing for the first time all the way back in 1984, the Nike dunk was oriignally designed for the basketball court by Peter Moore, but over time it’s evolved into a cultural icon that’s loved by many. The signature aged-white “Rattan” hue forms the basis of the colourway here, along with hits of clean white and brown for a well-rounded and seasonally appropriate look.

The uppers are crafted from quilted fabric which adds to the insulated element of these sneakers, while the inner lining is made up of a cozy fabric which once again keeps your feet warmer than ever before. Nike’s Swoosh logo features across the lateral and medial sides in black, along with move to Zero branding at the tongues and range-specific Toasty tabs on the insoles. The look is finished off with a gum outsole, a timeless autumnal feature.
