The Nike Air force 1 low Experimental “USPS” arrives in priority Mail Box Packaging

Recently, Nike has been busy in Tokyo prepping up a line-up of Japan-inspired sneakers including a convenience store fried chicken-themed Air Max 90 and one that even mimics their traditional Onigiri rice balls. However, little did we know that the Swoosh brand’s US-based headquarters were also gearing up to release the Nike Air force 1 Experimental “USPS” Air force 1 Experimental “USPS”. This latest variant of their timeless classic AF-1 arrives in a colorway that resembles the shipping boxes from the sportswear giant’s official postal service partner in America, USPS.

Whether you call yourself a sneakerhead or not, the Air force 1 is unquestionably a shoedrobe staple. The AF1 Experimental model from Nike’s N.354 on-going project, however, is one that you need a bit of courage to flaunt out there. In a nutshell, foam-like material coats the entire structure, even the perforations across the toe box, only leaving the laces forefoot, sock liner, and durable rubber outsole underfoot untouched.

The uppers and full-length Air midsole of the shoes are encased in the aforementioned foam material hued in cream, accented with a vast array of repeated text in blue that reads “Air force 1”, “N.354” in red on the lateral profile Swoosh, and a shipping label sticker on the heel that presents all the required information when posting a parcel. The latter components such as the padded tongues, inner liner, pull tabs, and all the signature details of the Experimental AF1s like the lace toggles are coated in “Ashen Slate” and “Royal Blue” tones to round it all off.

Expected to drop in the next coming weeks via Nike and select retailers globally, the Nike Air force 1 Experimental Ghost “USPS” will retail for £120 a pop. So head to the app store, download the official TSS app and keep those notifications turned on to stay in the know of this launch and many other Nike trainer release dates at all times.
