Seriously, does Kanye West want to take a break for a minute – it’s one Yeezy release after another!! If, like numerous of us, you’ve been living off a diet of very noodles for the last month, this weekend could see another blow to your dwindling bank balance. That’s right, yet another Yeezy 700 is going live and depending on your preference, these could be too good to pass up.
As the second style in the Yeezy V2 range, the ‘Geode’ arrives with a slightly different construct than the OG. Thick mesh is surrounded by panels of premium leather whilst 3M accents bring some contrast along the sidewall. The rope laces are another distinct feature on the ‘Geode’.
There’s no denying this is a bold shoe but therein lies the problem; how do you style such a chunky silhouette?! Thankfully, Instagram offers the inspiration. here we present some of the best styling shots that are currently trending.
It’s not easy to pull off jeans with the oversized Yeezy 700 Geode but it can be done. just be sure to avoid boot-cut denim – in fact, never wear boot-cuts with any trainers…period!
Given the Yeezy 700 is such a dominating shoe, you’ll want to choose denim that is fairly unwinded yet tapered at the ankle. These aren’t the shoes to be rocking with tight jeans or jeggings!!
Most of the on-feet shots of the Yeezy increase 700 V2 Geode showcase thick joggers or nylon track pants. It’s the baggier fit of these trousers which makes them an ideal choice against that oversized silhouette.
Given this newest colourway is fairly unassuming, you can get away with these alongside grey, navy or black joggers.
Khaki also works well, as seen here with the classic socks-on-show made well-known by Kanye West. contrast with a pair of funky coloured socks. It’ll put even much more attention on the trainers and break-up some of those darker shades.
